Nanshan Tea City – 南山茶叶城

A dragon turtle, or 龙龟(long2 gui1). Along with other meanings, the turtle part symbolizes longevity, and the dragon symbolizes career success and courage. This one is to put on a tea table.

Nanshan Tea City is near Coastal City in Shenzhen. It’s basically a mall that sells tea and everything that goes with it. 🙂

I didn’t take as many pictures as I wanted to, so I feel like this post doesn’t completely accurately represent what it’s like! For example, I didn’t get a good picture of loose tea on display. In the picture above, you can kind of see it in the trays with green signs, and, on the other side of the shop, in the cardboard box with a pink sign.

Mom wanted to try honeysuckle tea, which we found at this shop and the owner offered to make some for us to taste. 🙂
